Last weekend we had a wonderful time up at the Pines of Kabetogama RV Park. We stayed there with friends and grabbed one of the clifftop RV sites, which delivered an incredible view of the lake—especially at sunset. While there, we took the Signature Cruise with Jason, which we highly recommend! The pontoon boat tour hit all the highlights of the park, and Jason gave us great info as we landed at each stop. He was a fantastic host and extremely knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, and the history of Voyageurs National Park. (The tour may seem a little pricey - but go ahead and splurge -- it was worth every penny!) We loved getting to know him and his wife better over our stay. The RV park is exceptionally well-run and well maintained by their staff, making it a spot we will definitely return to. They have thought of everything and take great care of their guests!

A little slice of heaven. Beautiful, well kept campground and cabins in an ideal picturesque setting. Sarah & Jason have done an amazing job. Everything is top notch! We did a 7 hour boat tour with Jason through Voyageurs. It was outstanding! I would highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking to explore Voyageurs National Park.

We stayed in a camper on the lower section. The exterior of the buildings in this campground were in excellent shape. Lots of attention to detail here. The camp sites were nicely laid out. Staff was awesome! The bathrooms kept in tiptop shape as well. Plenty to do as they offer boat and pontoons for rent. We took advantage of some of the area hiking trails. The few things that would improve the stay would be to relocate the garbage collection box somewhere else to improve backing the camper into the #7 spot. Also move the fire rings away from the road a bit more. Otherwise! These resort owners are levels above most I've experienced in a long time! We enjoyed our time here and will be back.

Wonderful site with amazing hosts! My husband and I were on a 25 day excursion and we stayed at The Pines of Kabetogama for 7 nights. It was an amazing spot! When we arrived the team picked us up in a golf cart to take us to check-in area which was nice so we had room to turn around to head to our site! At check-in Sara was so friendly and took time to share about the area including park visitor centers, places to eat, hike, and bike. We took a sunset boat ride with Jason and then also the all-day trip 55 miles to see places in Voyageurs you can only get to by water! Both were amazing! Sara also contacted fishing guide and set us up for a morning fishing trip! That was so cool! Our cliffside RV site was beautiful as well! Made the night skies easy to enjoy and boy were they amazing! Sara and Jason run a top notch place! We gave some more bucket-list trips to make but we’ll be back!

Great stay at The Pines! We had a beautiful cliff top full hookup RV site for our Airstream. We spent two days there and the facilities were nice and clean. We enjoyed an evening sunset boat ride with other couples from the came. The second day we spent in the Voyageurs NP and did a NPS guided water taxi tour which was awesome…saw 6 bald eagles, lots of historic areas. Fun and knowledgeable Rangers were perfect for getting to know the park and its history.

What a lovely stay! First time to this area. We usually camp at state parks. Stayed on the lake level in our 5th wheel. This was one of the cleanest campgrounds we’ve been! Easy to park and set up. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We didn’t get to do everything we wanted because we ran out of time! Would absolutely come back.

We stayed at the Pines recently for 6 nights, in our 37’ Class A, MH. The first night we stayed in the lower level and then moved to the upper level for the remaining stay. The owners, Jason and Sara are the best! Helpful, informative and caring. The sites are level. We utilized our internet. Minimal reception for cable and cell. Highly recommend taking the 2 hour twilight boat tour. If you own a boat, that’s the primary way to see Voyageurs.

We enjoyed a weeklong stay at one of the Clifftop sites in our RV. We also rented a golf cart and pontoon for the week. This seems to one of the nicer resorts on Kabetogama. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Renting the pontoon worked well for us to see the attractions on the lake and to go fishing. It would have been nice to have a restaurant available at the resort but we found Thunderbird and Arrowhead nearby for that.

This was our fifth consecutive year staying at The Pines for our annual family fishing trip. We love it! We have been doing trips like this for 50 years and stayed in many places and The Pines is definitely the nicest we've ever stayed at. The cabins are super well maintained and clean and have most everything you could want or need. The grounds are beautiful with lots of great views. Nice extras with community bathrooms and laundry if needed. The service provided by Sara and Jason and their team is also top notch. We will be back again next year!

We had a nice stay at The Pines of Kabetogama Resort Campground. Parking was easy, and our site (#6) was a convenient pull-off to the side. The back-in site had plenty of room for both our truck and trailer, and the 50-amp full hookups were easy to reach and worked well. The staff was friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. The campground was quiet and peaceful, making it a relaxing place to stay. Wi-Fi was pretty poor, and our cell service was also inconsistent. We had to rely on our satellite connection during our stay. The dumpster near the building was convenient for trash disposal. Overall, this was a quiet and comfortable campground with friendly staff, clean bathrooms, spacious sites, and easy-to-access hookups. The Wi-Fi and cell service were the main drawbacks, but having satellite made staying connected possible.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at The Pines of Kabetogama! We stayed in the RV section, which was spacious, beautifully maintained, and just a short walk to the water. There was so much to enjoy—swimming, fishing, kayaking, and boating. We also loved the benches and chairs throughout the property that made it feel comfortable and homey. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, and the peaceful setting was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. It’s definitely a great place to stay while exploring Voyageurs National Park. We would happily stay here again!

Fabulous and clean Could not have stayed at a better location. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Public wash rooms were great, staff was wonderful and incredibly organized. They took very good care of us. We had to move sites while we were there from the cliff area to the lake side due to our late registration. They made that easy. Lovely place and so glad we found them!

This is a wonderful campground. We stayed in the Paul Bunyan cabin and it was terrific! It was so clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. The kids(all teenagers) spent most of their time in the lake or playing volleyball with other campers and had a blast. Very family friendly and absolutely beautiful- can’t wait to return someday! One tip-pick up groceries in International Falls. The campground is remote and there are very limited provisions available. There are some area restaurants that are fun.

Jason and Sarah do a great job of helping you visit Voyagers national Park from this RV park. The park itself is five stars no doubt full hook up sites on the cliff top are beautiful. But the gem is the full tours. They offer a Voyager national Park via their boat. They also offer a twilight tour to watch the sunset which was magical.
