- Working on-site in a close-knit, friendly team environment alongside the owners of this family-owned and operated resort
- Part-time, seasonal roles averaging 30 – 35-hour work weeks with two consecutive days off, allowing you to fully enjoy your time away from work
- A variety of roles to keep work engaging and dynamic – housekeeping, groundskeeping, general maintenance, and marina, with cross-training opportunities

We primarily hire work campers – employees that travel with their own self-contained recreational vehicle to use as housing and local candidates with reliable transportation. We are seeking employees committed to providing an outstanding guest experience who take pride in a job well done. Primary roles include housekeeping/laundry, marina/dock hand, and groundskeeping/general maintenance.
We aim for work-life balance. Most employees average 30-35 hours per week with two consecutive days off. We want to ensure you have the opportunity to fully enjoy Voyageurs National Park and Northern Minnesota while you live and work at our resort for the season!
We strive to ensure that every work camper has what they need to thrive in the Best National Park Work Camping environment. Our scheduling is based on the needs of the resort, so we require flexibility in your schedule and role. We aim to hire team players that enjoy a variety of work.
Our hours of operation run 7:30 am – 7:30 pm seven days a week from May to mid-October. Seasonal employee arrivals are staggered throughout May, and the season runs until October 15th.

Ideal Candidate
The two most important qualities we look for in our team members are a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Every role interacts with guests, making excellent customer service a priority. In addition, our ideal candidate is:
- Passionate about nature and outdoor recreation
- Reliable, honest, and a team player
- Comfortable in a remote, rural environment
- Able to work a flexible schedule during our hours of operation 7:30 am – 7:30 pm, including weekends and holidays
- Able to commit to the majority of our season (May – October); shorter-term opportunities may exist depending on circumstances – reach out to ask!
- Willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks
Previous hospitality, resort, campground and/or marina experience is a plus. Although not required, please indicate if you have boating/fishing/marina experience or any mechanical skills such as electrical, plumbing, light construction, engine repair, or vehicle maintenance.
A strong willingness to learn and contribute is the most important qualification!

Getting Here and Getting Around
The Pines of Kabetogama is located 4 ½ hours north of Minneapolis/St. Paul, 2 1/2 hours northwest of Duluth, and 30 minutes east of International Falls. We are fairly remote, although you will find several restaurants, a general store, coffee shop, and a gas station in Kabetogama. For additional shopping, including a full-service grocery store, you will need to travel to International Falls. USPS delivers Monday – Saturday and UPS and FedEx deliver Monday – Friday.
